§ 12-197. Passenger limitations.

(a)

A driver may not carry at the same time more passengers than the designed seating capacity of the taxicab.

(b)

The director may establish rules governing passenger limitations, as illustrated by, but not limited to, cabsharing, cabpooling, and numbers of passengers with different destinations.
