§ 12-200. Driver conduct.

  • A driver shall:

    (1)

    Act in a reasonable, prudent, and courteous manner;

    (2)

    Maintain a sanitary and well-groomed appearance in compliance with section 12-194(a);

    (3)

    Not possess or consume any alcoholic beverage, drug, or other substance that could adversely affect the driver's ability to drive a motor vehicle;

    (4)

    Not monitor the radio frequency of a taxicab company, other than the driver's own, or respond to a call for service dispatched to another taxicab;

    (5)

    Not possess a radio capable of receiving the frequency of a taxicab company, other than the driver's own;

    (6)

    Not interfere with the director in the performance of the director's duties; and

    (7)

    Comply with lawful orders of the director issued in the performance of his duties.
