§ 12-677. Grounds for cancellation.
(a)
The chief of police may revoke the permit issued on any or all wreckers belonging to a permittee on any of the following grounds:
(1)
If a permit was procured by fraudulent conduct or false statement of a material fact or a fact concerning the applicant not disclosed at the time of the granting of the permit.
(2)
If the permittee or any of his agents, servants, or employees arrive at the scene of an accident in violation of the provisions of this article.
(3)
If the permittee or any of his agents, servants, or employees solicit any business in violation of the provisions of this article.
(4)
The permittee or an employer of the permittee has been convicted for a violation of any of the requirements of this article or has violated any of the rules and regulations as established by the chief of police.
(5)
If the permittee has been convicted of a felony or other offense involving moral turpitude.
(b)
Such revocation of the permit shall terminate all authority and permission heretofore granted. Any person whose permit has been revoked shall not be eligible to again apply for a permit for a period of one year from the date of revocation.
