§ 16-122. Properties required to provide receptacles.
A person in control of any property listed in this section shall be required to provide adequate litter receptacles for use by their customers, employees, and visitors:
(1)
Shopping centers, supermarkets, convenience stores, fastfood restaurants, service stations, and other businesses catering to the public;
(2)
Parking lots for the public, office buildings, apartments, hotels, motels, or other commercial establishments and institutions;
(3)
Commercial establishments and institutions that have loading and unloading operations and where packing and repacking are done;
(4)
Construction projects for disposal of residue and employee lunch or coffee break discard.
The director of community services of the city or his designee is hereby authorized as the sole judge of adequacy of litter receptacles described in this section.
