§ 26-474. Maximum limit in alleys.

  • From and after the passage of the ordinance from which this section is derived, the publication of the caption, and the erection of signs as provided in this division, it shall be unlawful for any person to drive or operate any motor vehicle on any public alley within the corporate city limits at a speed greater than ten miles per hour, and any speed in excess thereof, unless otherwise permitted by law, shall be prima facie evidence that the speed is not reasonable nor prudent and is unlawful.
