§ 30-25. Established; composition; vacancies; election of officers; meetings.

There is hereby established a parks and recreation board for the city. Said board shall consist of seven members All appointments shall be made for two-year terms. Vacancies in the board, occurring other than through expiration, shall be filled by the city council for that portion of the unexpired term remaining. The board, immediately after appointment, and annually thereafter, shall meet to elect a chairperson and vice-chairperson. Four members of the board shall constitute a quorum. The board shall meet at least once each month.
