§ 6-51. Established; composition.

An animal adoption center/advisory committee shall hereby be established and comprised of a minimum of the following: one licensed local veterinarian, one municipal official, one representative from an animal welfare organization, and one person whose duties include the daily operation of the city's animal adoption center/shelter. The animal welfare organization representative may not also be employed by the shelter. All committee members shall be appointed by and serve at the pleasure of the city council.
