§ 6-250. Application; inspections.

Applications for permits shall be made to animal services on forms furnished by animal services. The application will not be approved until certification has been received from the appropriate city officials that the zoning, construction and facility comply with existing ordinances for establishments housing such business. If the permit application is approved by the supervisor of animal services, he shall issue the permit upon payment of the appropriate fee. Animal services shall make any inspections necessary to ensure compliance under this chapter. Animals shall be kept under sanitary conditions so as not to endanger the public or animal health, or create a nuisance.
