§ 10. SEVERABILITY

All sections, paragraphs, sentences, clauses, and phrases of this [Unified Development Code] are severable, and if any such section, paragraph, sentence, clause or phrase is declare unconstitutional or otherwise invalid in any court of competent jurisdiction in a valid judgment or decree, such unconstitutionality or invalidity shall not cause any remaining section, paragraph, sentence, clause, or phrase of this [Unified Development Code] to fail or become inoperative.
