§ 10-631. Purpose.

The purpose of the review of permit applications for demolition, on-site relocation, and off-site relocation of buildings that are over 50 years old is to prevent the loss of buildings in the Downtown Historic Core that may have historical or architectural significance. The purpose of this article is also to provide the time necessary to initiate designation as an individual landmark or to consider alternatives for the building.
