§ 12-199. Solicitation of passengers prohibited.

  • A driver may not solicit passengers:

    (1)

    From a location other than the driver's compartment or the immediate vicinity of the driver's taxicab;

    (2)

    In a way that annoys or obstructs the movement of a person;

    (3)

    By paying an employee of another business to solicit passengers for or give preferential treatment in directing passengers to the driver's taxicab.
