§ 22-100. Penalties.
(a)
Any minor violating the provisions of this division shall be guilty of a Class "C" misdemeanor as defined in the Texas Penal Code and shall be dealt with in accordance with the provisions of V.T.C.A., Family Code title 3.
(b)
A parent of a minor or an operator of an establishment violating this division shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction shall be punished by a fine of not less than $50.00 or more than $500.00.
(c)
In assessing punishment for either a parent or child, the municipal court judge is encouraged to consider community service.
