§ 22-101. Offenses.

  • (a)

    From August 16 through May 31 it shall be unlawful for any minor to purposefully remain, walk, run, stand, drive, or ride about, in or upon any public place in the city between the following hours:

    (1)

    11:01 p.m. until 6:00 a.m. of the following day on any Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday; and

    (2)

    12:01 a.m. to 6:00 a.m. on any Friday or Saturday.

    (b)

    During the summer school break, from June 1 through August 15, it shall be unlawful for any minor to purposefully remain, walk, run, stand, drive, or ride about, in or upon any public place in the city between the following hours: 12:01 a.m. until 6:00 a.m. on any day of the week.

    (c)

    It shall be unlawful for the parent having legal custody of a minor to knowingly permit, or, by insufficient control, allow the minor to be in violation of the curfew imposed in subsections (a) and (b) of this section.

    (d)

    It shall be unlawful for the owner, operator, or any employee of an establishment, to knowingly allow a minor to remain upon the premises of the establishment during curfew hours.
